Sandcastle Wheatens are bred for health and temperament. I assess (hips) OFA certification, (eyes) CERF screening, blood work, urinalysis, and perform the PLN allele test; I also participate in the Open Registry. Although I do participate in AKC sanctioned dog shows, the dogs in my home are a part of the family first. And because I want the best temperament and attitude possible in my home, I also want the best for all my potential pet puppy homes. I am a responsible breeder and take placement of the puppies very seriously. I realize I am ultimately responsible for every puppy I place and keep in contact with the families. All pet puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract.
