Information

  • Puppies are expected July 2024 and I am currently accepting applications.
  • There is usually a waitlist for every litter. Families who have previously had or currently have a Sandcastle puppy take priority.
  • Please contact me before filling out an application. I am NOT a volume breeder and as such, I do not keep applications on file (I may only have one litter a year).
  • I accept refundable deposits.
  • I strongly encourage potential puppy families visit my home and see where puppies are raised and meet my current wheatens.
  • At this time, I do not ship puppies. You must pick your puppy up or we must make arrangements to meet.
  • If you are uncomfortable with all the questions I ask on my application form, then I am not the breeder for you. Please be aware all responsible breeders and members of our national club will have an in depth screening process of potential families similar to me.
  • I strongly advise being prepared to wait for your newest family member. Responsible breeders do not always have puppies available on demand. We are not high volume breeders and we are not for profit breeders. If I am unable to provide a puppy for you at this time, I am happy to recommend another breeder that MAY have an upcoming litter or puppies available. I care deeply about this breed and am very concerned about families getting a happy, healthy puppy from a fellow responsible breeder. Please read about the health concerns and questions to ask a breeder on SCWTCA.org. Our national club has a breeder listing for the entire United States and our regional club SCWTCGTB has a Florida breeder list.
  • As a member of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, I adhere to all health testing guidelines as outlined in our code of ethics. I assess (Hips and Patellas) OFA certification, (Eyes) CERF screening, routine blood work and Urinalysis, and perform the PLN allele test. Puppy placement is very important to me and as a responsible breeder, I realize I am ultimately responsible for all puppies placed. Be prepared to keep in contact with updates throughout the life of the dog.
  • Puppies are never allowed to be re-homed by the buyer for any reason (per the contract). Puppies at any point during their lifetime must be returned to me if the dog cannot be kept for any reason.
  • All pet puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract.
